New Cyber-Security Requirements for Federal Contractors

The American Bar Association will be holding a webinar on new cyber-security requirements for federal suppliers.
Get up to speed on cybersecurity issues in federal government contracts with a webinar from the American Bar Association (ABA) on December 17 from noon till 1 PM ET.
In response to security breaches within federal agencies and contractors, the U.S. federal government will be imposing new requirements on contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers related to cybersecurity. These new contractual requirements will pose significant legal risks for contractors who do not understand them or are slow to comply.
This webinar will cover cutting edge issues and developments at the intersection between cybersecurity and federal government contracting. Recent developments that will be covered include the DFARS Interim Rule regarding Safeguarding and the DFARS Interim Rule regarding Cloud Computing.
An expert panel will also address other emerging cyber regulations and compliance risks unique to those working in the Federal marketplace.
Panelists will include: David Z. Bodenheimer, Kate Molony Growley and Stacy Hadeka.
Cost is $195 for ABA non-members and $150 for members. One does not have to be a lawyer to join the ABA as an associate member.
